RDT 100 and 200 Series terminals set a new benchmark for workforce and shop-floor
data collection needs. Designed for a wide range of demanding environments, the
RDT provides extensive flexibility in any labor-based operation from Time and Attendance
to Access Control to Job or Inventory Tracking. These powerful time and attendance
devices provide uninterruptible, robust data collection of your most valuable assets
whether it be labor or manufacturing data, and delivers it securely to your business
applications.
From packaging to operator interface, the RDT is designed specifically with the
focus on the user; intuitive, flexible and non-complex. The sealed, tactile keypad
provides clear, spacious keys and sensory feedback during employee interaction.
A bright 6 line by 20 character display is easibly readable in low to bright light
conditions. An internal multi-tone beeper provides audible feedback to the user
for positive and negative operations, and an optional external beeper is available
for noisy industrial and outdoor environments.
A broad range of Auto-ID technologies are supported including Magnetic Stripe (ABA
track II), Barcode, Proximity and Fingerprint or Hand Geometry Biometrics. Two reader
ports are standard with every RDT; one internal and one external. The RDT is also
available with an auxilary RS232 port.
Terminal management can be performed locally or over the network via Telnet. The
terminal accepts power supplied locally using an AC/DC adapter, 802.3af PoE, or
remote injected power over the host communication cable.
