TimeClock Managerâ„¢ w/Sample User Rights
|
Essentially the administrative backbone of TimeClock Plus Web Edition, Web Manager
is used to control almost every facet of company time and attendance.
Web Manager allows managers to enter employee information,
edit hours, track who's here, approve hours,
and manage other day to day functions from a browser at home or at the office. In
addition to these features, managers also have access to a wide range of "real-time"
reports including Payroll, Job Costing,
Scheduling, and many others. Web Manager includes full integration with the same
modules available in our 6.0 Professional Edition - standard and custom
payroll interface modules for period exports , special hour calculation modules, and more.
Managers that are added may be given full or limited access to Web Edition. For
example, one manager may be restricted to adding employees and editing hours while
another is restricted to running reports. To take it one step further, a manager
may be restricted to all employees in his or her department while the supervisors
of that department are restricted to employees on their team.
Completed time clock transactions are written immediately to the confines of the
SQL database, and thus easily included in scheduled network backups securing vital
employee information. Additionally, Web Edition 3.0 offers the following features:
- The ability to automatically email reports to locations of choice.
- The ability to use LDAP authentication which allows for a unified password in applications
such as TimeClock Manager.
- Ability to print reports to Open XML (to be viewed in Excel among other spreadsheet
applications).
- Scheduling features including global scheduling and fixed schedules.
- TimeClock Plus remote data terminals are also supported by Web Edition 3.0.*
- Employee timesheet entry and time-off Requests.
* Requires installation of TimeClock Plus WinRemote.
